Our Wines

Misty Hills is produced from the winery's best vineyard plot. The wine’s name is a tribute to the morning mists that often lie upon our vineyards. These mists form as warm air from the Mediterranean collides with cool air descending from the mountains. Planted in stony soils along the slopes of the Judean Hills, our vineyards are uniquely located to take advantage of this climatic phenomenon.

Misty Hills 2016 is a blend of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon and 45% Syrah grapes sourced from the Meubanim plot in Shoresh vineyard. This plot is planted on a north-facing slope with shallow Terra-Rosa soil.

The illustration on the Misty Hills label portrays the epitome of Terroir: The symbiotic bond between Soil, Vine and Man

The balance between sweetness and acidity is the most important aspect in great dessert wines. Or 2017 possesses this harmony.

The wine is made from Gewurztraminer grapes grown on the highest plot of Shoresh vineyard, at 700 meters above sea level.

Or 2016 has intense aromas and flavors of tropical fruit, and minerality that reflects the character of Shoresh Vineyard.

Limited edition of 1,800 bottles.

Shoresh Blanc 2018 is made from Sauvignon Blanc (90%) and Chardonnay (10%) grapes grown on old terraces in the Shoresh vineyard. The vineyard is characterized by shallow Terra-Rosa soil with subsoil of limestone.
The wine went through cool fermentation and Sur-Lie aging for 7 months in French barriques.

Shoresh Blanc structure and complexity reflects the character and quality of this unique vineyard.

The grapes of Shoresh 2017 are sourced from small blocks of rocky soil from our estate grown Shoresh Vineyard. On this shallow and poor soil the vines strive for nutrition, which results in concentrated grapes with an array of flavors. This is a rich blend of Syrah (48%), Cabernet Sauvignon (38%), and Petit Verdot (14%) showing flavors of dark fruit and spices. The wine shows beautiful and harmonious texture.

Shoresh 2017 was bottled after an aging period of 16 months in French oak barriques. The wine could be enjoyed now and will continue to improve in the bottle for many years to come.
