Neve Ilan Blanc 2009

Neve Ilan Blanc is made from Chardonnay grapes grown on old terraces in Neve Ilan vineyard. The soil is shallow Terra-Rosa soil with subsoil of limestone. The wine went through cool fermentation and Sur-Lie aging for 9 months in French barriques and stainless steel tanks. Neve Ilan Blanc 2009 did not go through malolactic fermentation in order to retain the natural acidity and freshness of the wine. Neve Ilan Blanc reflects the character and quality of this well situated vineyard.
